Boulder League

From January 7, the Spot Up League 2026 is launching. There will be 20 league boulders set for the competition.

The league runs in multiple rounds throughout the year (with a break during the summer holidays), and the ongoing rankings will continuously shift and develop. Anyone can join, regardless of performance level or experience. All you need to do is pick up a league scorecard at the reception, record your sends, and collect points.

This year’s league has a clear progression. It will culminate in a December final competition held in a single day, where the top 50 men and top 25 women from the overall standings will meet. The number of rounds you participate in is entirely up to you—the league is designed to be enjoyable no matter how often you climb.

  • There are 20 league boulders of varying difficulty set for the competition
  • The league takes place in multiple rounds
  • Each round has its own separate ranking
  • At the same time, an overall league ranking is created
  • The overall ranking determines qualification for the final
  • Results from all rounds are included in the overall standings
  • Each boulder has its own number (1–20)
  • You record your attempts for the TOP (send)
  • When you climb a boulder, you write down on which attempt you topped it
  • If you don’t complete the boulder, you leave the TOP field empty
  • At the end, you count the number of TOPs and your total number of attempts

That’s it—this is your result for the given round.

  • At the end of the season, a final competition takes place in a single day
  • The top 50 men and top 25 women from the overall league standings qualify for the final
  • New boulders will be set
  • The climbing style is FLASH
  • DJ, music, and atmosphere included

The winners of the Spot Up Boulder League—the male and female champions—will receive the league winner’s trophy.
