Spotlight Boulder Jam

Opening race for all

We are opening on 16.11. and in style with the opening race for everyone.

We have prepared Hobby and Professional categories for you, each divided oon category women and men. The Hobby category will have its unique 20 boulders, the Profi category will have its 20 unique boulders. Boulders in the category will be common for both men and women.

Due to the safety and style of the boulders, the minimum age for participation in the Hobby and Profi categories will be 14 years (year of manufacture 2010 and under), for the Profi category individual exceptions are possible for young supermen and wonderwomen. The division into the category is up to you, but our recommendation is that if you climb 7A and above, you already belong to the Profi category, and you will be able to climb there even more.

In addition to the final results, special awards will also be announced – Thinker (the most creative climb), Betabreaker (winner over the builders), Masochist (the most attempts to climb the boulder) and Skiner (the smartest fingers).

An original Italian pinsa and pasta buffet and quality lemonades will be available throughout the day. Everyone who pre-registered will receive a unique Spotlight t-shirt and some trinket from our partners.

Throughout the day, various testing sessions and workshops of our partners will take place, so it’s worth coming even if you don’t want to race. The finale will be visually and musically spectacular, so there will be something to remember and talk about at the after-party, which will last until midnight.

Format and Rules

Qualification will be mass flash style for 3 hours in two groups of 100 people each (Hobby and Profi together).

The Hobby category will start at light and end at approx. 7B, the Profi category will start at approx. 6C and end at… very heavy.

Boulders will be scored based on the number of climbs – the most climbed boulder will have the least points, the least climbed boulder will have the most points, always in increments of 100 points (the easiest boulder 100 points, the hardest 2000 points). Each attempt means minus 1 point. For each category, there will be a final for the best 8, both men and women. In the finals, each category and gender will climb 4 boulders in the onsight style – that is, from isolation in the World Cup format (that is, one women’s boulder and one men’s boulder in turn, max. 4 min per attempt)
