Safety and behavior rules on the bouldering wall
To fully enjoy climbing and keep all visitors safe, it is important to follow a few basic rules.
Safety first
- Keep the landing zone clear. To prevent injuries in a fall, never stand or sit under a climber.
- Be aware of other climbers. Pay attention to the movements of people around you to avoid collisions.
- Check the mats. Before climbing, ensure no objects, such as bottles, shoes, or other obstacles, are on the landing surface.
Wear Proper Clothing and Gear
- Always climb in climbing shoes – regular footwear is not suitable. If you don’t have climbing shoes, you can rent them.
- Remove sharp or loose items, such as watches, rings, or jewelry, that could restrict your movements or damage the mats.
Respect Others
- If someone is already climbing a route you want to try, wait until they finish.
- Avoid blocking the start of routes so others have enough space to begin.
Climbing is at Your Own Risk
- Warm up your entire body thoroughly before climbing to prevent injuries.
- Focus on every movement while climbing, as falls can be unpredictable.
- If you’re a beginner, start with easier routes, and don’t hesitate to ask an instructor for help.
Keep the Area Clean and Tidy
- Use only special climbing chalk (magnesium), and don’t overuse it.
- Return all borrowed items to their designated places after climbing.
Follow Staff Instructions
- Our staff’s instructions are in place to ensure everyone’s safety. If a staff member advises you on behavior, please respect their guidance.
- In case of an injury or problem, immediately inform a staff member.
